Cooperative Conservation Partnership Initiative (CCPI) 2013

The Cooperative Conservation Partnership Initiative (CCPI) is a voluntary conservation initiative that enables the use of certain conservation programs with resources of eligible partners to provide financial and technical assistance to owners and operators of agricultural and nonindustrial private forest lands.

Eligible producers who participate in a project area identified in an approved partner agreement may apply for program assistance.

Under CCPI, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) enters into partnership agreements with eligible entities that want to enhance conservation outcomes on agricultural and nonindustrial private forest lands. The Secretary of Agriculture has delegated the authority for CCPI to the NRCS Chief.

NRCS will announce CCPI availability through announcements and a new Request for Proposals (RFP) sometime after the beginning of the new 2012 fiscal year. Watch this website for more information.

Applications for projects within the state will be considered for funding through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and the Wildlife Incentives Program (WHIP).

Multi-state and national projects must be submitted to the Chief, USDA-NRCS National Office in Washington, D.C. by the announced time.
