FY2019 Sign-Up for Sage Grouse Working Land for Wildlife Initiative

CASPER, Wyo., June 17 -- Natural Resources Conservation Service Field Offices in Wyoming are currently accepting applications for the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Sage Grouse Working Lands for Wildlife Initiative.

Signed applications must be on file by July 19 for consideration of fiscal year 2019 funding.

The Sage Grouse Working Land for Wildlife Initiative offers technical and financial assistance for eligible producers on eligible land to voluntarily conserve sage grouse habitat on private lands. This assistance helps producers plan and implement a variety of conservation activities or practices that benefit the bird and agricultural operations.
